Pittsburgh Bike Share owns and operates the Healthy Ride bike-sharing system as the primary extension of our commitment to increasing public transportation options in the city.
Our team runs the day-to-day operations of Healthy Ride including bike maintenance, station planning, and all communications.
David is a lifelong cyclist who has always been fascinated by the gains that can be made at the intersection of the public, private, and government sectors. David lives with his wife and children in Pittsburgh’s Stanton Heights neighborhood. He has a masters degree from Carnegie Mellon in Public Policy and Management.
Erin’s love of Pittsburgh began when she moved to the city to attend Duquesne University where she pursued a BA in Integrated Marketing Communication and Art History. After completing her degree, Erin worked in the Pittsburgh arts community while completing her MA, also from Duquesne, in Rhetoric and Philosophy of Communication. She then ventured to the intermountain west where she honed her intellectual prowess at the University of Utah, developed her passion for community engagement and advocacy, and substantially grew her love of the outdoors. Erin is ecstatic to be back home in Pittsburgh, eating Pamela’s hotcakes and expanding her vinyl collection, and is dedicated to connecting with the community to create an equitable system of transportation for everyone who travels within our beautiful city.
Adams Carroll is passionate about expanding access to healthy, sustainable, and affordable transportation. He brings a professional background in bicycle and pedestrian planning and advocacy to Pittsburgh Bike Share, having previously worked as Active Mobility Planner for the city of Nashville and Program Manager for Walk/Bike Nashville. Adams works with the operations team to ensure that the Healthy Ride system runs smoothly.
